What is the Flood Plan Explorer (FPE)?
Created: 19 October 2021 Updated: 14 December 2022
The Flood Plan Explorer (FPE) is an online, interactive, map-based tool developed for the 2021-2027 Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMPs). It displays the measures (actions) that are in those FRMPs to manage flood risk. Measures have been developed by Risk Management Authorities including the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities.
The information available for each measure includes:
Where the measure is
A description of the measure and what it is trying to achieve
The objectives in the FRMP the measure helps to achieve
Who is responsible for implementing the measure
The implementation status of the measure
Please visit the FRMP pages to read the published plans and to understand the context behind the measures and how they will be implemented: Flood risk management plans 2021 to 2027
