Summary
This dataset provides information on both terrestrial and marine protected sites across England, and the status of their Conservation packages, which are accessed via Designated Sites View. The dataset covers protected sites including Marine Conservation Zones (MCZ), Special Protection Areas (SPA) and Special Areas of Conservation (SAC).

The dataset is generated by Marine and Terrestrial Conservation Advice teams. They provide six monthly updates on any new site designations/status changes. Other datasets include: CP2 boundaries, UKHO 6nm and 12nm limits.
