Lineage
Input data on homes is mass produced from Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) data to create 100s of building simulation models. Indoor temperatures and energy outputs from these are compiled and the relationship between indoor and outdoor temperatures is quantified via Machine Learning methods (random forest). Input parameters for the housing stock were taken from EPCs.
