Ruddy Duck Control Trial Data 1999-2002 - Control Operations and Counts
Summary
This dataset includes information on site visits carried out as part of the UK Ruddy Duck Control Trial which ran from 1999 to 2002. It includes details of all visits when Ruddy Ducks were culled, and also, from mid July 1999, details of all site visits where counts of Ruddy Ducks were made. "No. ducks wounded" is an estimate of the maximum number of birds thought to have been wounded but not dispatched before leaving the site. Codes for other species present are those used by the British Trust for Ornithology and others.
