Created under the Countryside and Rights of Way (CROW) Act 2000, the Access Layer data was digitised from OS MasterMap and Landline by the contractors Black and Veatch Consulting Limited and the Geodata Institute on behalf of the Countryside Agency. The military byelaw and section 28 land originated from the MoD.
